KID-FRIENDLY5/30/2025 A dentist is outstanding if he/she can also make a scared kid be calm, trusting, and confident about the procedure. We have been tossed around to different dentists after a dramatic incident involving a cavity treatment on a baby tooth. One dentist lauded to be the best kid-friendly provider in the area proved to be more a salesperson extraordinaire. Putting a cap on baby teeth is not very smart. It's just money in the dentist's pocket. Another dentist we went finally with was someone who provided the confidence and comfort as well. He was literally the kid-friendly person with no super-marketing about being so. He exuded that since he walked into our consultation room. If the first dentist was as patient as the kid-friendly dentist, the whole drama could have been prevented in the first place. There will be no 'trauma' to address. It was such a daylight between the two, you can see the huge difference. The results spoke for itself. Cavity done and the kid felt like she was so courageous and nailed it!

SPAM5/27/2025 Aside from the Nigerian prince or the wealthy widow needing to extricate her millions, what are the spams do you get recently? Here's one for the road... Legal Assistance I wanted to follow up on my previous email to confirm whether it was received. I am reaching out to inquire if the matter I described falls within the scope of your practice. I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly acknowledge receipt of this message, even if a more detailed response will follow later. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Nice try!

STRIFE5/20/2025 As much as possible, stay away from strife. Strife that has now winners, but losers. Strife on matters of personal preference or opinion. Strife kills your joy and positive spirit. As what the Bible admonish, 'stop it before the dam breaks." When you ever have to be in strife, use conflict to constructively address a problem/solution and bring everyone on the table to talk about solutions and remedies. Thing about larger issues in life, career, in your workplaces that need directly confrontation, not sweeping under the rug, or letting the issue disappear. It takes courage, to be the person to be blamed for raising the issue, fighting about it, and defending the concerns of many. Life is tough, if you ever get a fight, choose your battles wisely. Some conflicts are not worth your energy, attention, and time, sometimes money too! Or worst, in case or road rage, your life or limb. |
