​If you're service club has given up on getting one wheelchair in another part of the world, you'd better realize that this is not the club that will make more impact in the world. 

They would fold up in the first glance of a difficulty. It doesn't matter if it's organizing a dinner fundraising, advocating for better policies at the provincial level or sending life-saving equipment to another country.

This is not a difficulty question. This is an attitude and a mindset issue. 

You're wasting your time persuading this people who had been convinced that the way to go is to the same thing all over again, pat themselves in the back for their fortunes, and give some money to charity and call it a day! 

That's not service, is it?  That's not even impact!

​Greta and her team of celebrity activists onboard Madleen, the 'seflie yacht' was a dumb act. 

It cheapened their activism because of gimmicky and acting.

There are real people in Gaza in need of aid.

They could have raised more money to go to aid if they're really concerned of starvation based on what Hamas and Al Jazeera and UN was saying.

​Real giving, real effort trumps ceremonial/symbolic gestures.

It's just shows that her stock value as a child star is now over, or on its last legs. 

The world is not stupid.

Beware of the periodicals and newspapers you read these days.

Either they are pro-Trump or hated Trump, either Pro-Palestine or a pro-Israel, Pro-Russia or anti-Russia, anti-immigration or pro-immigration and nothing in between that speaks of objective coverage of the current events.

Journalists  are becoming more of a propagandists than doing the mandate of one: checking the veracity of their sources, putting disclaimers and caveats whenever warranted and ensuring that in the absence of perfect objectivity, at least a semblance of fairness and balanced coverage of criticisms and praise on the opposing side of any conflict portrayed.

The lack of the attempt to produce credible findings is absolutely horrendous and sad. It's criminal and dangerous to fan the flames of hatred, division, and confusion. The murders on Jewish civilians in the US and elsewhere come from incitements to violence in the name of resistance. Words have real implications. They can kill.

Every time I check Al Jazeera, CNN, and Fox News, I have to do the counterfactuals in my head and these media are not doing a reader any favor. 

They're muddling the issues too. 

​Definitely, part of the problem.
